Lest We Forget

On the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, we pause for a moment of silence to honour the more than 118,000 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation and the more than 2.3 million who have served, or continue to serve Canada in our armed forces.
We should never forget their bravery and their sacrifices, and always remind ourselves of the values they fought to protect. Today and every day, let us remember them, thank them for their sacrifice, and strive to honour it.
I wish all of you a meaningful Remembrance Day.
